1. Scope of Services

The Multicultural Counseling Center offers professional counseling and mental health services to individuals, families, and groups. Services may include, but are not limited to, therapy sessions, workshops, and educational resources.
Note: Our services are not a substitute for emergency medical treatment or crisis intervention. In case of emergency, please contact your local emergency services or crisis hotline immediately.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and above or minors with parental or legal guardian consent. By engaging with us, you affirm that you meet the eligibility requirements.

3. Confidentiality

​

We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your information in accordance with applicable laws, including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) where relevant.

Exceptions to confidentiality include:

• Threats of harm to self or others.

• Suspected abuse or neglect of a minor, elder, or dependent adult.

• Court orders or legal subpoenas.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

​

• Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our customer service team.

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.

5. Fees and Payment

​

• Payment for services is required at the time of the appointment unless prior arrangements have been made.

• We accept all major credit and debit cards.

• Fees are subject to change, and clients will be notified of any adjustments in advance.

6. Code of Conduct

​

To maintain a safe and supportive environment, clients must:

• Treat staff and other clients with respect.

• Avoid disruptive, threatening, or violent behavior.

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations during interactions with our services.

7. Termination of Services

​

We reserve the right to terminate services for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Non-payment of fees.

• Violation of these Terms and Conditions.

• Behaviors that compromise the safety of staff or clients.

8. Limitation of Liability

​

While we strive to provide high-quality services, the Multicultural Counseling Center is not liable for:

• Outcomes of counseling sessions.

• Delays or disruptions caused by events beyond our control.

• Decisions made by clients based on the counseling received.

9. Intellectual Property

​

All materials provided during sessions, workshops, or on our website are the intellectual property of the Multicultural Counseling Center and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.

10. Amendments

​

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes through email or our website.

11. Governing Law

​

These Terms and Conditions, and any disputes arising out of or relating to your use of this website or our services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
